STEVEN Lustica is Adelaide United's latest signing.
Lustica, 22, was granted a release from his contract at Croatian club Hajduk Split.
Adelaide officials this morning are set to confirm it had agreed to terms with the former Young Socceroo.
Canberra-born Lustica played one match for the second-placed side in the Croatian first division under coach Igor Tudor this season. He was on loan to Brisbane Roar from January until June this year.
Lustica made his A-League debut for Gold Coast in 2009 before signing for Hajduk two years later.
The midfielder was also courted by clubs in Italy and Cyprus this month.
Lustica still had two years remaining on his contract before it was terminated yesterday.
He is expected to arrive in Adelaide by the weekend.
